Brier Creek Farm, LLC, is a horse boarding and training facility in northwestern Calloway County just 9 miles from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. We offer such amenities as a lighted 100’ x 150’ all-weather outdoor arena, run in-sheds on all pastures, board and high tensile fencing, and a new, well designed barn with clean, spacious, and safe stalls. Our full-service approach includes stall-board with full care, English riding lessons, horse training and showing programs with on-site trainer Candy Cook . Our motto is “Safety and fun equal’s happy horses and riders!”
We provide a custom training program tailored to each individual client. Riders are taught with a combined focus on developing seat and position, learning horse-training skills, and increasing theoretical knowledge to optimize their ability to effectively ride and train their horse. Programs range from one lesson once a week on a Schoolmaster to full training for rider and horse. Our training curriculum includes Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Event training programs, which can be altered to accommodate the experience level of any rider or horse. Our focus is to help riders achieve their goals whether that includes competition or riding for the pure pleasure of the sport.
All levels of horses and riders who are interested in learning are welcome.
